PROTEKKT protection suite is being built on 20+ years of experience in software protection, anti-cheat development and automated malware analysis utilizing protection methods such as polymorphic/metamorphic code mutation and code virtualization.
By having first-hand experience in using existing "state of the art" code protection methods while developing anti-cheats, we've learned how easily attackers deobfuscate or devirtualize protected code. On the other hand, while developing similar tools for automated deobfuscation of virtualized code in malware, we've only confirmed how easily it has become to do so.
And that is how the idea of PROTEKKT was born. The experience in both reverse engineering and software development is the base of producing and continuously delivering solutions that are up-to-date with modern reverse engineering methods.
PROTEKKT is not a suite of products based on false promises. We're not here to lead you into believing that software protected using our tools will never be reverse engineered. We offer solutions for applications running on systems that, by their design and nature, are reverse engineerable. Most modern systems fall under this category. Given enough time and enough effort, every application gets reverse engineered. We're here to make that process as complex as possible and to make the time required to do so significantly longer than what the industry currently offers.
Therefore, our goal is not just to have a reliable protection today. Our primary goal is to continuously develop and update protection offered by our products. The entire idea is backed by building our products on an in-house obfuscation framework which allows us to quickly implement significant changes and improvements. We're not here to sell the same product with minor changes for 10 years, our goal is to have a significantly different and improved version in a year, in two years and so on.
We're also here to cover what others have mostly failed to do over decades of offering similar products. While everyone is focused solely on obfuscation of code and very basic interfaces for obfuscation of data, usually limited to basic instances of strings, we understand how much the data helps while reverse engineering an application. Which is why we're also heavily focused on providing SDKs and interfaces for data obfuscation. The two combined go hand-in-hand and when glued together, they significantly raise the effort required to reverse engineer applications in terms of both time and skill required.
We're starting our offering with protection suite for native x64 Windows applications with SDK provided for C, C++ and Rust programming languages, but we are aiming to expand to other operating systems, devices, architectures and programming languages in the near future, hopefully becoming the go-to place for software protection and license enforcement solutions for all popular platforms.
